Keri & Adam’'s Destination Disney World Engagement Shoot

Posted on December 27, 2012
|

What a fun place for an engagement shoot! Keri and Adam are huge fans of Walt Disney World, so this was their dream location for their engagement shoot. We met up with them at the Magic Kingdom a few weeks ago, where we had a great time roaming around this amazing park taking photos. As the holidays were fast approaching, the Magic Kingdom’s already colorful atmosphere was even more festive, decorated beautifully to represent the spirit of the season. The lights were brighter and the colors more colorful! |

The park is so expansive, that we walked around as much as possible to shoot in as many different areas as we could before darkness fell. This was perhaps the most interesting destination engagement shoot I have ever shot. Magic Kingdom has so many different areas with completely unique looks – from Adventureland to Fantasyland to Tomorrowland and more – that the range of possibilities for shooting is literally endless! We started near Adventureland and made our way over to the new Fantasyland, of course making sure to incorporate such icons as Cinderella’s castle, the Magic Kingdom train and the carousel along the way. |

Keri and Adam were great fun to work with and I am totally looking forward to photographing their wedding at the Eden Roc next October! |

Rachel & Josh'’s South Florida Wedding at Jupiter Beach Resort

As seen in Weddings Illustrated!! |

Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of photographing Rachel and Josh’s spectacular wedding at Jupiter Beach Resort, a South Florida venue just north of Palm Beach right on the ocean. Despite the unstable weather that day, we enjoyed all the beauty this resort had to offer and made the best of getting as many great shots as possible. As you will see from the photos posted here, Rachel and Josh were beaming on their wedding day. Their enthusiasm to do photos was much appreciated! It gave me the opportunity to make the most of their Jupiter Beach Resort wedding and shoot as many spectacular shots as time would permit. |

A make-up artist by trade, Rachel looked beautiful – her hair and make-up impeccable as always. For her special day, Rachel purchased a gown (Amsale analisa) at Chic Parisien in Miami, one of South Florida’s most prominent bridal shops. Benny of Daniel Events created the stunning décor for the wedding. In addition to fabulous floral arrangements, the décor included the total draping of the ballroom to create an incredible effect. Jamie Lipman of The Absolute Event was the outside wedding coordinator for the event. Their DJ was Michael Sarysz – and he was the one who provide the super cool CO2 gun. |

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Shapiro! |

From the moment we did their engagement shoot nearly a year prior, working with Rachel and Josh has been a pleasure. Their choice of Jupiter Beach Resort was also a great one. It’s located on a pristine beach in northern Palm Beach County. Although Rachel and Josh are locals, I can see how this venue would also be a great draw for those planning a South Florida destination wedding. With numerous indoor and outdoor locations to shoot in and around, Jupiter Beach Resort stands alone in its area of Palm Beach County. There are very few other venues in the area. The Marriott Singer Island is one other venue that is in somewhat close proximity. Other than that, you really have to look in Palm Beach itself where there are several other venues to choose from – The Breakers being the largest and most prominent, The Omphoy, Brazilian Court, and The Colony. Just a little further away, there is also the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach and the Four Seasons Palm Beach, which are superb venues as well. But if you are looking for a bit more remote location or perhaps have many guests that live either in the Jupiter or Palm Beach Gardens area, the Jupiter Beach Resort is definitely a location to consider. As a South Florida wedding photographer, I can say that photographing Rachel and Josh’s wedding at Jupiter Beach Resort was a terrific experience and I enjoyed the opportunity to explore all this resort has to offer with such a fun and enthusiastic bride and groom! |
